What is Search Engine?

Search Engine is a Website. It will give the Result according to the Users Query

It’s a program that searches documents for specified keywords and list the documents where the keywords found. Search Engine is used to search information from World Wide Web. The list it displays is often called hits.

How Search Engine Works?

Search Engines process 

1.  Crawling

2.  Indexing

3.   Searching /Processing

           

         Crawling

                Crawling is the first process. Search engines crawl through web or internet like newly created website or blog. This process will do by spiders or crawlers. Search engines crawls throughout the website or blog and store the data in to the database.

 

 

     Indexing

                Indexing is the second process of search engine while crawling it found the new website or blog and store the details into database after that it will follow the initial steps of that and change the details in the database for further retrievals            

 

                                       

  Processing

                     Processing is the final step of search engines. It will retrive the result  from database accoring to the  users query.
